Series 66 Quick Study Guide
Qty: Price: $35

As the Series 66 examination has increased in complexity over the years, the necessary study has been increasing. Students who have used our Quick 7 have been asking for a similar Quick for Series 66. The Quick 66 was developed using our "in class experience" to bring a sharp focus to the Series 66 material, emphasizing the important test points and information needed to pass this difficult examination. Students using the Quick 66 score 6 - 8 points higher on the actual exam. This translates into a major improvement in passing rates, since a 71% (NOT a 70%) is needed to pass this exam.
The Quick 66 guide compresses the information in the full 600 page Series 66 Self Study Books into a 50 page summarized review of the most important points that must be known for the Series 66 exam. The topics covered include:
  •     Uniform Securities Act
  •     Securities Registration and Exemptions
  •     Business Practices
  •     Administrative Procedures
  •     Federal Securities Acts
  •     Financial Profile of a Client
Quick 66 is intended as final review prior to taking the actual exam.
Series 66 Exam Databank
Qty: Price: $125
Databank Version:

Designed to complement our Self Study Books, the Series 66 Exam Databank is a convenient and effective method of testing a student's overall comprehension of the material. Using Databank software prepares the candidate for the actual test by presenting practice questions of similar complexity to that of the real exam.
The program consists of tests drawn from the 6 major topics found on the actual exam. Databank tests feature:

  • 30 quizzes - 5 for each of the 6 major topics covered on the Series 66 exam
  • 5 State Law Midterms, covering Registration & Licensing Requirements, Securities Registration, Business Practices and Administrative Procedures
  • 10 Finals, covering material from all 6 major topics
  • 400+ hyperlinked Glossary terms

No two tests in the Databank are the same - the depth of the question pool ensures that each question the student sees is unique. All of the tests are weighted in the same manner as the material in the actual exam. Each question has a detailed explanation that not only explains which answer is correct, but also explains why the other answers are wrong for the more complex concepts.

Anyone using a printed Series 66 study program, or attending a Series 66 class, will improve their scores with Databank.

Smart 66 On the Web
Qty: Price: $125

Smart 66® on the Web:

  •     eliminates need for textbooks
  •     makes the most efficient use of the candidates' time, since the content delivery is dependent on user performance
  •     tailors the training experience to each user's strengths and weaknesses
  •     delivers consistent effective training at the lowest per-user cost

The program is divided into the same "Chapters" as our Series 66 text, and includes an online textbook that leads the user sequentially through every topic, testing the user on each major point.

The program dynamically modifies each student's learning sequence, based on the student's strengths and weaknesses. If a user is having difficulty with a major concept, he or she is presented with the information to be learned in a variety of reinforcing methods until mastery is achieved. Therefore, users who are not having problems move rapidly through the program; those that are having difficulty will move more slowly, but they will meet the minimum competency level needed to pass the examination upon successful completion of Smart 66®. We developed this learning approach by combining the most successful teaching techniques culled from 20 years of preparing students for the securities exams.

The learning material covers over 400 concepts, arranged within the 6 major areas tested on the Series 66 exam. Each concept includes:

  • practice questions with detailed explanations that not only explain which answer is correct, but also explain why the other answers are wrong for the more complex concepts
  • a Quick 66 summary - an easy-to-read condensation of the most important points tested

Other key features are:

  •     mastery exams
  •     Quizzes that test each of the 6 major areas
  •     State Law Midterms, covering Registration & Licensing, Securities Registration, Business Practices, and Administrative Procedures
  •     Finals, covering State Law Midterms plus Federal Securities Acts and Investment Analysis
  •     tests are weighted in the same manner as the material in the actual exam
